HOSCON IN BAYELSA STATE ELECTS NEW STATE EXECUTIVES AT 2020-AGM
The Bayelsa State Chapter of Host Communities of Nigeria (HOSCON) has elected new State Executives at it's 2020 Annual General Meeting held at wetlands center, Osiri road, on Thursday 3 Dec. 2020, to kickstart a new frontier for community development in the oil and gas sector in the Niger Delta region. The organization which has been managed by an interim management committee (IMC) over the years, was revamped by critical stakeholders when they decided to set an agenda for development of the organization hinged on their God given wealth, (Oil & Gas) and how oil bearing and pipeline communities can maximize the embedded potentials for development, after over 30years of oil and gas exploration in the region.
