Liberation Movement - Bayelsa State Plans Massive Election Monitoring and Management awareness programme. The project is aimed at enlightening the general public on how they can monitor and manage elections within their voting points, polling units, wards and Local Government areas as the primary locations where rigging and election manipulations take place, for effective, result oriented, citizens participation mechanism for solving rigging and subversion of the will of the people during polls in Nigeria. The project which is a public lecture series x-raying the shortcoming of the electoral process with a view to profferring lasting solutions to electoral malpractice in Nigeria, shall hold continuously until the 105 wards in the state are sufficiently empowered with information, knowledge and strategy that would help them gain confidence in the electoral process in Bayelsa State and Nigeria.
