In commemoration of the International Day Of The Girl Child, Nigerian Literary Society (NLS), Reading Association Of Nigeria And English Language Teachers Association Of Nigeria (ELTAN) plays host to Mrs. Aniso, Yeri Helen author of the literary masterpiece, the book titled "AGAINST The TIDE" for the monthly Reading, Poetry, Conversation & Book Signing. The event which was held at Alliance Francaise, 20 Herbert Macauley Street, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, Rivers on Saturday 29th October, 2022 saw representatives of both associations and student guests from the Rivers State College of Education and other institutions, authors and young writers in attendance, amongst others. The book in focus was " Against the Tide " by the author selected in line with the day's theme; International Day Of The Girl Child.
