PMAN BAYELSA STATE JULY CONGRESS


As part of activities marking the June, 2025 Congress of the Performing Musicians Employers' Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Bayelsa State Chapter, the Governor,  Comr Tuebi Sapere-Obi aka OldBoss on thursday 12 June, 2025 at the union's Congress meeting which held at TEOET Island Resort Okutukutu appointed 5 out of the 8 LGA Coordinators. 
While handing over to them their appointment letter, the PMAN Governor also told them  his vision is to take the PMAN conversation down to the grassroots which is the most important areas if we must get it right.

Comr Fasinte, an elder and a former Governor of the chapter also gave them a word of charge stressing the need of love and all inclusiveness in their dealings.

The LGAs present to receive their appointment letter include;

* Brass - Comr. Christy Omubo Stephen Kune aka L-Criz
* Sagbama - Comr. Chief Amabebe Enarebebe aka Amas
* Ogbia - Comr. Okpara Kotete aka Timgbolo Special
* Southern Ijaw - Sorimo Efiyeseimokumo aka Danny Teez
* Nembe - Daniel Allwell Tabai aka Starblink

Celebration of World's music day which comes up on the 21st of June 2025 was also discussed, which was another landmark achievements being the maiden edition in Bayelsa State.

The meeting unanimously approved a Proposed Bayelsa Musical Summit and took steps to begin preparations for courtesy Calls to stakeholders while also preparing for World Tourism Day coming up in September.

The attention of the Incorporated Trustees of Rural Peoples' Assembly, Bayelsa State chapter has been drawn to the publication advertising the vacancy into the office of the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Otuoke (FUO) currently circulating on the Daily Trust publication of 10/10/2025 calling for suitably qualified candidates interested in applying to fill the vacancy, to submit applications and wherein it was stated that candidates must have been professors for six (6) years and above is a high-handed, insensitive and a local content manpower strangulation criteria that needs to be reversed immediately to avoid setting a bad precedent. DETAINED AYAMASA YOUTHS - POLICE DEMAND N5M TO FACILITATE BAIL, AFTER OVER 40 DAYS BEHIND BARS

The lawyer to the detained Ayamasa Community Youth Presidential aspirants have hinted that the Admin Officer (A.O.) to the Operation Restore Hope department of the Nigeria Police Force Bayelsa State Command, Mr. Clement Akpo informed him that the relatives of the suspects should provide the sum of Five Million Naira (N5,000,000.00) to facilitate the bail process of the 4 persons still in custody.
